 Ayurveda
the Indian system of medical science is the world’s original naturais the

Ayurveda states that a disease arises when the three dhoshas -
Vatha, Pitha & Kabha (three governing

Vatha comprised of air and space is

Kabha - Earth and water are responsible for body structure.

gives rise to toxins in the body.
Ayurveda offers many wonderful herbal formulas that strength the immune
system while correcting the imbalance. In one Ayurvedic Medicines the
whole plant if used and prepared in accordance with ancient authoritate
grandhas (Books).
MEDICATED STEAM BATH
Certain precious herbal leaves and herbs are boiled and stream is applied
to the whole body for 10 to 20 minutes. This is good for certain skin
diseases, to eliminate impurities from the body, to improve the tone of
the body, to reduce fate etc.
KERALA TRADITIONAL AYURVEDIC MASSAGE
Ayurveda offers a variety of oil massages. The body constitution of an
individual is studies and required oil is used to message. It cures all
type of muscle pain, back pain and joint pain. The massage enriches the
entire physiology promoting deep relaxation and healing. This treatment is
very useful for obesity, especially for diabetic gangrene etc.
GENERAL MASSAGE
Body massage with herbal oils or herbal powder for one hour by hand to
tone up the body and to improve the blood circulation et.
FOOT THERAPY & REJUVENATION MASSAGE
This massage includes whole body massage with herbal oil or herbal powder
by hand and foot for 90 minutes. This is good for rejuvenating the body,
to reduce mental tension, sexual weakness, to improve vitality etc.
PANCHAKARMA
It comprises five elements of treatments for treating different diseases.
It is the supreme healing and rejuvenation programme of Ayurveda. It
consist of Vamana (Emesis) indicated for overweight, poor digestion,
headache, allergies, depression etc. Virechana(pugation, kayarekham)
cleaning of Nasal sinuses or cavities. It is indicated for cold, headaches
etc.. Rektha Moksha purification of blood.
OTHER TRADITIONAL TREATMENTS
PISHICHIL - 7/14/21 Days
In this treatment lukewarm herbal oils are applied all over the body by
two to four trained therapists in a special rhythmic way continuosly for
about 60 to 90 minutes per day. This treatment is very usefull for
Rheumatic diseases like Arthritis, Paralysis, Hemiplegia, Paralysis-agitanus,
Sexual weakness, Nervous disorders etc.
NAVARAKIZHI
 It
is a process by which the wole body or any specific part ther of is made
to perspire by the application of certain medical puddings externally in
the form of Boluses ties up in muslin bag. This is applied by two to four
therapists for about 60 to 90 minutes per day. This treatment is for all
types of rheumatism, pain in the joints, emaciation of limbs, high blood
pressure, cholesterol and certain kinds of skin diseases.
DHARA (SIRO DHARA &
THAKRA DHARA)
In this process some herbal oil, medicated milk, medicated butter milk
etc. are poured on the forehead in a special method for about 45 minutes
in a day. This treatment is mainly for relieve stress ensure sound sleep,
memory, nourish hair roots and refreshes your soul insomnia, vatha
predominated diseases, mental tension and certain skin diseases.
VASTHI (KADI VASTHI, SNEHA VASTHI, KASHAYA VASTHI)
Certain herbal oils, herbal extracts etc, are applied through the rectum.
This treatment is for arthritis, paralysis hemiplegia, numbness, gastric
complaints associated with Rheumatism and constant constipation.
SIROVASTHI
Certain lukewarm herbal oils are poured into a cap fitted on the head of
15 to 60 mintes per day according to the patient’s conditions. This
treatment is highly effective for facial paralysis, dryness of nostrils,
mouth and throat, severe headaches and other catha originated diseases
NETHRA THARPANAM
 Special
treatment in which eyes are bathed in pure medicated cow’s ghee which
helps in preventing all types of eye disorders and gives soothing effects
for eye.
THALA POTHICHIL
Wrapping of herbal paste on the head and instilling oil to the crown. This
helps to prevent hair falls, dandruff and gives natural complexion to
hair.
FRUIT THERAPY (PHALA SMRITHI)
Honey mixed fruit is massaged to the body and face especially for the
ladies to maintain the youthfulness and improves the fairness.
 NASYAM
Herbal juices, medicated oils etc., are applied through nose. This
treatment is highly effective for sinusitis, certain kinds of headaches,
paralysis, mental disorders, some type of skin disease etc.
SNEHAPANAM
Medicated ghee is given internally in a proportionally increased quantity.
This treatment is for osteoarthritis, psoriasis, leukemia etc.
KIZHI (ELAKIZHI & PODIKIZHI)
Herbal leaves and herbs or herbal powders are applied to the whole body in
boluses with hot medicated oils for 45 minutes per day. This treatment is
for osteoarthritis, arthritis with swelling, spondilosis, sports injuries
etc.
PRIME BODY CARE PROGRAME IN AYURVEDA
1. REJUVENATION THERAPY (Rasayana Chikilsa) - 7/14/21 days
The treatment includes body massage with hand and foot by therapists with
medicated oil and cream, internal rejuvenate medicines and medicated bath.
This therapy is for 90 minutes to 2 hours per day. This therapy is to
rejuvenate mind, body and soul, to tone up skin, to strengthen all systems
so as to achieve ideal health and Longevity.
2. BODY PURIFICATION THERAPY (SHODHNA CHIKILSA)
It is a process of purity the whole body to attain proper balance of Vatha,
Pitha and Kapha based on the panchakarma and swedakarma treatment. This 15
days package process includes body massage , snehapanam, nasyam,
virechanam (medicated purgative), Snehavasti, Dhara, Pizhichil,
Njavarakizhi, Karnapooram, Tharpanam, Sirovasthi and Internal herbal
medicines.
3. UDVARTHNAM (BODY SLIMMING PROGRAMME) - 7/14//21 DAYS
This includes two types of massages.
1. medicated herbal
power massage
2. medicated herbal oil massage.
This programme also
includes medicated steam bath intake of herbal juices and herbal tea. A
very special ayurvedic diet is advised during the treatment period. This
treatment is for the disease like hemiplegia, paralysis, obesity (excess
fat) and certain Rheumatic ailments.
4. BEAUTY CARE PROGRAMME - 3/7/14 days
In this programme herbal
face pack, herbal cream massage, herbal oil massage, intake of herbal tea
and medicated bath are included. This treatment increases the Skin
complexion, skin tone and beautifies the body figure.
KATIVASTI
A well like structure constructed on the back and warm oil is kept for
specific time which helps in relieving backend improves back flexibility.
